In the System Properties  window just click the Advanced tab and click the Settings button under  Startup and Recovery. And in the Startup and Recovery window uncheck the  Automatically restart check box and click Ok.
System auto restart problem could occur due to hardware problem too.  If there is any failing hardware in your PC, that could also  unexpectedly generate an error and eventually your PC will reboot  without warning. To fix the problem you need to remove any recently  installed device. Sometimes, memory (RAM) issues can also be the reason  for the problem. Open the computer case, remove the RAM and clean it.  This will fix the issues.
If you are experiencing random reboots, it might be due to virus  infection. There are viruses that cause PC reboot after certain time. To  fix this issue, you need to install a powerful antivirus and run a  complete scan and kill the viruses. If you already have an antivirus on  your computer, update it.
Today's computers are designed to automatically reboot if the devices  inside the case gets too hot. Check all the fans are ok and they are  moving smoothly. Have a closer look at the SMPS fan and the processor  fan. If there is dust, clean it. And if you find the fan not working  properly, change the fan.
If you try all the above mentioned recommendations and find still the  problem is there then your PC is probably having operating system  issues. To fix this issue, you need to reboot the PC and enter CMOS  setup when the computer is booting.
After you have loaded the computer in CMOS setup let the computer  sit. And if you find still the same problem is occurring, then you have  to reinstall the Windows.
